Since March 12th 2019, our Mâcon – Calais line operate between the Burgundy – Franche Comté region and the port of Calais. It connect the Rhônes-Alpes region to Switzerland and the UK.
The APROPORT terminal, located in Mâcon, benefits from a very strategical positionning in the European territory. Besides, our terminal in the center of Calais, open 24/7, offers you the possibility to transfer your semi-trailers from train to ferry (P&O et DFDS), so that they can travel to the United Kingdom unaccompanied (only the semi-trailers make the trip, without a tractor or a driver). This RoRo rail type of service directly connects Mâcon to Dover.
